Can you find an Aglet in the Ice biome?
An Aglet is part of Surface Chest loot, not the primary loot table of Frozen Chests in the underground Ice biome. A normal Chest in the Surface layer can contain one; open your .wld file and search item ID 285 to check the whole world.
Does every Terraria world have an Aglet?
No individual world is guaranteed to place one in a Surface Chest because chest loot is generated by chance. TerraMap can confirm whether your existing world contains one before you create another world.
What should I do if my world has no Aglet?
Open Wooden or Pearlwood Crates, buy one from the Skeleton Merchant during a New Moon, or use the verified seed 39914 world on this page.
What is the Aglet used for?
Equipping it increases movement speed by 5%. It is also a required ingredient for Lightning Boots, which are part of the Frostspark Boots and Terraspark Boots crafting paths.
